Maintenance dredging
Sedimentation reduces the depth of port basins, jetty berths and shipping channels until vessels can no longer berth or pass safely. We restore that depth by grab dredging: a crane barge is positioned at the work area, its grab removes material from the seabed, and the material is loaded directly into a hopper barge moored alongside.
Our crane barges have 26–35 m booms and grab options from 4.5 to 12 m³, including heavy-duty and orange-peel grabs for heavier material.
Equipment
- Crane barge
- 4 units · 26–35 m boom
- Grab
- 4.5–12 m³ · heavy duty · orange peel
- Hopper barge
- 2 units · 3,200 m³
Sites we have worked on: shipping channels (West Kalimantan, Bangka Belitung, Central Java), port basins and container terminals (North Jakarta, Medan, Pontianak), and industrial and energy jetties (East Kalimantan, Riau, Batam, South Sumatra).
