This project was berth dredging at an oil terminal jetty in Dumai, Riau, in 2025. The aim was to restore depth alongside the jetty so vessels can berth safely.
We used grab dredging. A crane barge was positioned alongside the jetty trestle and removed seabed material with its grab. The material was loaded directly into a hopper barge moored next to the crane barge, then carried to the disposal site designated for the project.
Our crane barges have 26–35 m booms with grab options from 4.5 to 12 m³. Each hopper barge carries 3,200 m³.
